British Heritage Breeds and Gundog Pavilion

This area gives a unique opportunity to see many different breeds of Gundogs and British Heritage Breeds under one roof.

Gun dogs, or bird dogs, are types of hunting dogs developed to assist hunters in finding and retrieving game, usually quail, dove, or duck. Gun dogs are divided into three primary types: retrievers, flushing dogs, and pointing breeds.

British Heritage Breeds or Vulnerable Native Breeds are dog breeds of British and Irish origin that are considered to be vulnerable due to their declining registration numbers. These breeds are at risk of disappearing from our parks and streets, simply because people don’t know they exist or because they aren’t considered fashionable.

If you are looking for a new Dog, this is the perfect opportunity to speak with the representatives from the differnet breeds who know these animals so well and can discuss working ability, character and so much more, to help you make an infomred decision!

Or you could just go and make a fuss of these gorgeous dogs 🐶
